Test Review pt.1

Hi bloggggggg!!!! Today in class Mr. Schick told us we will have a test on Monday. We need to know that the population is over 7.6 billion on the planet right now. Also 90% of this population growth takes place in the developing countries of Africa, South and East Asia, and Latin America. Life Expectancy is the average number of years to be lived by a group of people born in the same year. Women outlive men in almost all countries. Crude birth rate is the number of births per 1000 of the population. Crude death rate is is the number of deaths per 1000 of the population. Rate of natural increase (RNI) is produced by subtracting the death rate from the birth rate. This gives us the natural growth rate- in percentage form- for a country or region. Net Migration Rate is the difference between the number of persons entering and leaving a country during a year. An excess amount of persons entering the country is net immigration. Written as a positive number. A excess amount of persons leaving the country is net emigration. Written as a negative number. Push forces and pull forces. Total fertility rate (TFR) is the average number of children born per woman.
