Test day

Today in class we took a test. It was 27 questions long. We got to use our previous blogs to help us. I think i did well because I studied over the weekend. The questions were about longitude, latitude, The Prime Meridian, parallels, absolute location, relative location, the equator, time zones, the Tropic of Cancer, ect. Today is also Hawaiian Day for spirit week.

Pop quiz

Today in class we took a pop quiz. We reviewed it in class and I did not do good so I will study over the weekend.  I think the highest I could get is a 60%. Monday is our test. Next week is also spirit week. Monday is Hawaiian Day. Tuesday is character day. Wednesday is black and gold day. Thursday is age day. Friday is class color day. The pep rally and powder puff game is after school on Friday. That night is the Homecoming football game against Loyola. The pop quiz was only ten points. So Im still mad i got a low score but I will study harder. I do not have a lot of homework this week so i will be able to study for the test, review my notes, and go over the blogs and material for class. It will be on latitude, longitude, time zones, site, and situation.

Wednesday- High School

 On Wednesday we talked about high school difficulties. There is a lot of pressure. From parents and teachers, but mostly from yourself. You have to maintain good grades. If you have two or more failing grades by halfway through the semester you can't do any extra curricular activities. You have to maintain good grades while playing sports. Schedules can also be confusing at times. You don't have the same classes each day. The schedule rotates eight times. Something else that can be hard is time management. You have to manage waking up early to go to school, going to school all day, going straight to practice or a game. Then coming home to shower and eat. But you still have homework that needs to be done. You also need to go to bed at some point. It can be hard juggling everything. Then you still have to get up when it’s time to in the morning.

Part 1 of essay

Considering our studies of fertility and mortality can tell a lot about a country and its future. There are four stages in the Demographic Transition. But some people could argue that there are five stages. The Industrial Revolution played a big part in the different stages a country was in. The first stage consists of high birth rates and low death rates which keeps the population stable or has a slow increase. No country remains here today. Stage two consists of a high growth rate and a death rate that is falling rapidly. The population rapidly increases. A country has to go through the Industrial Revolution which involves many major improvements with manufactured goods and delivering them to markets and stores. Developing countries were forced into stage two after the medical revolution which is where medical technology invented in Europe
